About the product

This 1979 Bing & Grondahl Danish Marine plate shows the Danish Frigate named Jylland. The frigate Jylland was sailing in the Danish navy from 1860 until 1908. In this period the frigate was used as royal yacht in 1874 and 1876 where it was sailing with the Danish King Christian 9th on his journeys to Iceland and Russia. In 1908 the ship was sold by the Danish navy but it has been preserved and today it is possible to see the ship in the Danish city Ebeltoft.
