2016 Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate, designed by Allan Therkelsen, has the title Ice skating in Copenhagen.
The motif of the 2016 Christmas plate depict Kongens Nytorv, a place in the centre of Copenhagen, which is always worth to see around Christmas. Many of the buildings around the area are beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and they create a perfect setting for the ice rink where you will be meet with joy and laughter. This is were the citizens of Copenhagen can meet and take a deserved break from Christmas preparation.
