This sign is one of the early and very rare Dealer signs.
Royal Copenhagen Dealer signs are found in numerous different designs, ages, and langueges. Though the production of dealer signs started very early, it was not until the late 19th century, when the products were being marketed through a larger number of retail outlets in Denmark and across the world, that the wider use of them began. The earlier signs can be found handpainted in overglaze or underglaze techniques, in very small numbers. Most of the newer signs are done in transware.
