Information on the back of the plate:
The steam ferry Helsingborg was delivered to DSB in 1902 by Helsingør Shipyard, as the first proper screw-driven ferry with screws at both ends. The two screws were powered by separate steam engines, giving the ferry excellent maneuverability. This type was followed by several similar ferries in the years to come. D/F Helsingborg operated on a single track. In the 1930s, D/F Helsingborg was used on the Sallingsund crossing and renamed Glyngøre. After the war, it served here as a reserve ferry and even as late as 1960, it operated on its original route Helsingør-Helsingborg. D/F Helsingborg was scrapped in the 1960s.
