Elvis annual plate 1987, produced by Corell Porcelain Denmark. Inscription on the back of the plate (in Danish): On August 14, 1958, Elvis's mother, Gladys, died, which was a very great loss for Elvis. Throughout his upbringing, he had been very close to his mother, and her death was especially painful for him. This strong bond with his mother led him to become a very dedicated family man himself, as he knew better than many what a loving family means.
