About the product
Motif: The Chained Dog getting 1915 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, designed by Dahl Jensen, is titled The Chained Dog getting a double Meal on Christmas Eve. Bing & Grondahl's Christmas plate from 1915 depicts a watchdog looking through the window into the living room, where the Christmas tree is placed. The title of the plate is taken from a Christmas song written by Christian Faber. Chaindogs are no longer to be found in Denmark, but many families have a dog, which is now more like a family member than a watchdog.
