The motif of this 2000 Bing & Grondahl Christmas Jubilee plate is the same as the motif of the 1922 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate. The title of this plate is Star of Bethlehem. The Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate was designed by Achton Friis. The Bing & Grondahl Christmas Jubilee Plates were started in 1915 and are still being continued with a new Jubilee plate every fifth year which is manufactured in underglaze.
