2010 Royal Copenhagen Annual Santa
On Christmas Eve and Christmas night, Santa is very busy. He has to bring out gifts to so many children in the world. He represents joy, hapiness and warm. We know the most famous of his reindeer, Rudolph, and Santa probably also cares about animals. This could be the reason why the 2010 Annual Santa is showed together with a cat while he is feeding the birds. In Denmark we know the old tradiotion with a corn sheaf (usualle oats) hung up at Christmas so the birds can find food when the ground is covered with snow. Many films shows Santa together with animals, who helps him preparing the Christmas gifts.

The Annual Santa is a series from Royal Copenhagen in which we follow Santa on his rounds on a busy Christmas night. The 2010 figurine is the tenth in the series and shows Santa busy with feeding the winter birds - they should also experience the spirit of Christmas.
