Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2020 with teddy bear

Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2020 with teddy bear is a charming Christmas figure that captures the warm and storytelling atmosphere that many collectors associate with the series' annual releases. The figure is designed by Sven Vestergaard and shows Santa in motion with a red suit, white beard, black belt, and a white teddy bear by his side. The blue bow around the teddy bear's neck and the sack on his back give the figure a lively and cozy expression that fits beautifully into the Christmas decorations.

The motif has a more everyday and informal character than the completely classic, solemn Santa. Here one encounters a Santa out and about, with open outerwear and a striped sweater, while he is accompanied by his teddy bear and still carries the sack with him. This gives the figure personality and makes it a Christmas decoration that one feels like taking a closer look at year after year.

Santa of the Year is a sought-after figure series from Royal Copenhagen, and for many it is precisely these Christmas figures that one looks forward to following and collecting. The series starts in 2001, and since then a new Santa has been produced every year. From 2021 onwards, a Mrs. Santa has also been added to the collection. This makes the 2020 edition a natural part of a larger collector's series, but the figure also works really well on its own as an atmospheric Christmas figure on the windowsill, on a shelf, or as part of the table setting in December.

Royal Copenhagen Christmas figures are very popular, and there is great demand for Santa of the Year in particular. Therefore, the year is important for collectors who wish to expand or complete their collection. At the same time, the figure is an obvious gift idea for anyone who is fond of Danish Christmas decorations, porcelain figures, and collectibles with a recurring tradition.

As a collector's figure and Christmas decoration, this porcelain figure unites storytelling, tradition, and recognizable Royal Copenhagen atmosphere in one small motif that brings Christmas into the home in a present way.
