Royal Copenhagen rabbit figurine no. 249 Jeanne Grut

Royal Copenhagen rabbit figurine no. 249 is a calm and present porcelain figurine with a finely observed animal motif. The figurine depicts a white rabbit in a seated position, occupied with its fur, and precisely that quiet movement brings the figurine to life. The soft shapes and the compact, rounded body emphasize the rabbit's calm expression, while the grey-toned details at the ears, eyes, nose and paws create depth in the otherwise simple play of colours.

Jeanne Grut is known for her animal figurines, where form and character go hand in hand, and that is clearly felt here. This Royal Copenhagen figurine is modelled with a sure sense of the animal's natural posture. The smooth porcelain surface and the discreet underglaze decoration give a clean and harmonious expression, which fits beautifully into both classic and modern homes.

As a decorative figurine, it is ideal on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a collection with other animal figurines from Royal Copenhagen. It also works well as a gift for a collector or for you who are fond of Danish porcelain and figurines with a lifelike motif. Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special charm because they bring both history, craftsmanship and personality into the interior, while also being a beautiful choice for you who appreciate things created to last.

It is a figurine that stands out without seeming ostentatious. The calm posture, the white glaze and the few, precise details make it easy to place together with other porcelain, ceramics or Nordic home accessories.
