Porcelain dish with one of the red gates to the Deer Garden in Klampenborg Teknik : Overglasur Designed by:Mads Stage Inscription at the back of the dish: In June of 1670 King Christian V had Dyrehaven (the Deer Garden) fenced by Juniper polls which were imported from Holland. Two gates were put into the fence, almost identical to the two which we see today in Klampenborg and at the Fortune ( an old forest guard place). At these gates, forest guard places with the privilege to run a restaurant were set up
