The Eremitage palace is situated at the highest spot in Dyrehaven ( the Deer Garden) - with a view of the strait, the plains and the forest. The castle was erected by Laurids De Thurau in 1736 for Christian VI. Style : Baroque. The name of the castle means the palace of the hermit.
