Royal Copenhagen 2023
The motif of this year's Christmas Plate 2023 from Royal Copenhagen Motivet på årets juleplatte 2023 fra Royal Copenhagen depicts a flock of sheep walking through a Danish forest. Therefore, the associated annual figurine 2023 is of a little lam playing in the snow. The motif on this year's Christmas plate, as well as the creation of the annual figurine, is by Allan Therkelsen.
The Christmas ornament 2023 also follows the theme of the danish forest and is of an adorable little hedgehog curled up in a cluster of branches. As it has done for the past few years, the deep blue shades match those on the annual Christmas plate.
Royal Copenhagen continues to release a small Christmas plaquette and this year's motif is inspired by baking, especially gingerbread, and family. The motif is by Dag Samsund.
Last but not least, Royal Copenhagen has again this year released a charming collectible set in the form of a thermos cup and plate, designed to embrace the coziness of the festive season. The thermo cup is also available without a saucer.
Bing & Groendahl 2023
The motif on the B&G Christmas plate from 2023 is of on of Denmark's most significant monuments, namely Roskilde Cathedral. The Christmas plate continues to be designed by Dag Samsund.
Bing & Groendahl's Mother's Day plate 2023 has a motif of a mother sloth and her baby, symbolizing the unbreakable bond between mother and child. This year's Mother's Day plate was designed by Allan Therkelsen.
On this year's Children's Day plate 2023 has a motif called The Gardener's Little Helper, depicting a child planting a tree with a puppy. The Children's Day plate os designet by Sven Vestergaard.
Welcome back to the angel orchestra
In 2023 Royal Copenhagen re-introduces their angel orchestra which was originally launched in 1955 in pure white porcelain. The five figurines are now designed in fading blue skirts and gold details. The ornaments can be used standing or hanging from the string that comes with it.
In the five-angel orchestra you will find an Angel with Trumpet, an Angel with Violin, an Angel with Cymbal, an Angel with Mandolin and an Angel with Hymn Book.
