Autumn ambiance in a beautiful coffee and dinnerware set
Leaves is a dinnerware set from Bing & Grondahl, designed by Ove Julius Larsen. The tableware has been produced since 1942, but unfortunately, after a production period of 45 years, it went out of production in 1987.
Ove Julius Larsen, a trained artist, worked at Bing & Grondahl during the periods 1918-1922 and 1927-1945. He was particularly known for his work with the black underglaze painting technique, which was invented in the 1930s. This black color can also be seen in the Leaves set, where it was used to create an autumn ambiance in the coffee and dinnerware.
Leaves is an art nouveau-style set. It is characterized by its beautiful pastel blue color and intricately painted autumn-colored leaves. The material is porcelain, and the set is an underglaze set, making it dishwasher safe.
