Bing & Grondahl has made countless porcelain plates with motifs of animals - both pets and wild animals.

Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day series

B&G Mother's Day plates show all the different animals with their young ones. The motif of the first plate from 1969 shows a cocker spaniel with her puppies and the following years depicts both popular pets and wild animals.

Bing & Grondahl plates with animals

The series of Mother's Day plates in porcelain by Bing & Grondahl are one of several other series, such as Animals in Twilight and Animals in Nature. The plates in the series B&G Animals in Twilight has a light blue base color and a beautiful decorative lace edge. The motifs are kept in dark blue or black color to symbolize the twilight when the wild animals move more freely. The Swedish artist Harald Wiberg has designed a series of Animals in Nature showing Scandinavian animals. Also these plates have a beautiful lace edge.

Bing & Grondahl plates with birds

Leif Ragn Jensen designed the B&G plate series with Danish Songbirds. The Songbirds plates have a white background with a nice overglaze decoration showing different birds from Denmark. The series consists of 12 different plates, which look great on the wall.
