In this category we find the plaquettes belonging to Bing & Grøndahls and Royal Copenhagen's Wiberg service with the little elf together with a cat dog and fox on a Swedish farm. The motifs of the mini plates are by Swedish artist Harald Wiberg, who has also decorated several plates with animal motifs for Bing & Grondahl. The motif of the little elf, who walks around the snowcovered farm is very popular and can be found on plates and on Christmas bottles.
Royal Copenhagen's plaquettes with motifs of Danish sights are well known and are seen in many places. But Royal Copenhagen has also produced a similar series of Swedish sights in the same style. Like the Danish series, the Swedish motifs showcase Swedish castles and landscapes with the name of the motif on the back.
Finnish Arabia has produced a small series of mini-plates with motifs that correspond to their larger animal plates. The mini plates show motifs of different animals in many colors. They are full of color like a painting.
The Rorstrand Christmas plates with motifs taken from Nils Holgersson's travels in Sweden were also published as plaquettes. They were published from 1968-1997 in boxes with five plaquettes in each. The motifs are identical to the same year's Christmas plate and the mini plates have the same square shape with rounded corners, like the larger Christmas plates.
