Bing & Grondahl Christmas ornaments in the series Santa Claus

Bing & Grondahl began their unconventional and colourful series of Santa Claus Christmas plates in 1989. The series ended in 2000, but the design and also the title, however, changed a bit in 1995. In connection with the release of the Christmas plate, Bing & Grondahl also issued a Christmas ornament of a mini plate with a motif related to the year's Christmas plate. The first six Bing & Grondahl ornaments show Father Christmas' doings before Christmas, his workshop, his sleigh in the night sky, his trip through chimneys and his distribution of Christmas presents.

From 1995 until the end of the series the title of the Bing & Grondahl Santa Claus ornaments was Christmas around the world, showing Santa Claus on a journey where we follow him in different parts of the world.
