Royal Copenhagen figurines of snowmen
Many families have a tradition of decorating a Christmas scenery and the Royal Copenhagen snowmen and pixies are perfect for such a project. The Snowman figures are not so big and they can easily be combined with the popular pixie figurines from Royal Copenhagen. With porcelain figuinres you can create a unique landscape and combine the different series. Unfortunately, none of the Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurines are in production any more, but we sometimes have some in stock and we can also try to obtain the figurines you are missing.
The sweet series of small Royal Copenhagen snowmen includes both adults and children. In the series, we meet the whole family consisting of grandfather and grandmother, father and mother, and their three children - two boys and a girl.
Two other snowmen from Royal Copenhagen, which is a fine set, is the father with broom and hare and the mother with cat. These two snowmen can furthermore be supplemented with a baby snowman with teddy bear.

In 2005, Royal Copenhagen launched a figurine series of a charming snowman family, consisting of father Max, mother Sophie and baby Arthur. The series also includes a matching plate that shows the dear family going for a walk in the woods at midnight. Father Max pull the sledge with baby Arthur and mother Sophie holds the light so they can see where they are going. Father Max is happily waving to us while baby Arthur smiles contentedly on the sledge. The figurines show the same situation as the plate - father Max with black hat and green scarf, mother Sophie with hat and green shawl with lantern in her hand and baby Arthur with blue hat on the sledge.
Royal Copenhagen snowman family 2006
Royal Copenhagen snowman Max from 2006 shows our dear snowman on skates with blue scarf and a lantern at his feet. Royal Copenhagen snowman Sophie 2006 is also skating and waving happily to the rest of the family on the lake. Royal Copenhagen snowman baby 2006 shows Arthur after a fall on the lake, so he lies on his stomach with his feet in the air. Fortunately, he has not been hurt and instead of crying he is laughing of his stunt. The Snowman plate 2006 provides a framework for the scenario by showing us the frozen lake where father Max skates around and baby Arthur lands on its tail. Mother Sophie stands at the edge of the lake making light for the skaters with her hands well buried in the sleeve. The forest hares curiously watch the small family.
Royal Copenhagen snowman family 2007
In 2007, the plate with the family was discontinued, but the Royal Copenhagen figurines of mother, father and baby snowman lives on. Baby Arthur is sitting in the laundry basket, while Mother Sophie reads for the family from an old book of Christmas stories. Father Max making light for Sophie with a candle and both he and Arthur are attentively listening to the story.
Royal Copenhagen snowman family 2008
The Royal Copenhagen figurines of snowmen from 2008 shows the snowman family on a picnic. The family is in the process of feeding winter birds. A bird is sitting on mother Sophie's hat eating a cob, father Max is taking a rest on the picnic basket and on his arm sits a hungry bird, hoping to have a tast of the food in the basket. Baby Arthur is studying everything carefully from his pram and in front of him sits a curious bird.
Royal Copenhagen snowman family 2009
Christmas is upon us and in 2009 the snowmen from Royal Copenhagen are getting ready for its coming. Father Max is sweeping front door with his straw broom and mother Sophie is ready to put the Christmas wreath on the door as soon as he has finished. Meanwhile baby Arthur is takeing a ride on the Christmas goat next to the door. Both broom and Christmas goat is also decorated for Christmas with green branches and red bows.
Royal Copenhagen snowman family 2010
The Royal Copenhagen snowmen from 2010 are the last of the beloved series of father Max, mother Sophie and baby Arthur. In 2010, snowman Max has just cut the Christmas tree in the forest and snowman Sophie and baby Arthur are ready to decorate the Christmas tree with braided Christmas hearts and a lot of gifts below.
The popular snowman series from Royal Copenhagen was designed by the Danish artist Henny Iversen who is known for her beautiful Christmas decorations such as Christmas cards and paper pixies.
