Pixies from Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl
The first two Harald Wiberg pixies from Royal Copenhagen was put into production in 1998. The figurines were Wiberg pixie with lamp and Wiberg pixie with rice pudding. The figurines were given a warm welcome and the last four Harald Wiberg pixies were quickly put into production. It happened in 2000, when Wiberg pixie with keys, Wiberg fox, Wiberg cat and Wiberg pixie with candleholder were launched. Harald Wiberg and Royal Copenhagen have together managed to create a timeless series of figurines. Royal Copenhagen Wiberg pixies were discontinued in 2002.
In 2001 the first six pixies came from Royal Copenhagen. The small pixies look beautiful together and they are a "must have" for many people around Christmas. The first Royal Copenhagen pixies were pixie with lantern and cat, pixie with heart, pixie with cornet, pixie with bell, pixie on sleight and pixie with Christmas tree.
In 2003 the cute snow-covered Christmas tree of 8 cm was added to the series and in 2004 four more sweet Royal Copenhagen pixies were launched. These were pixie with book, sleeping pixie, pixie with honey cake and pixie with rice pudding. The pixies bring warmth and Christmas spirit into the living rooms and along with the cute little snowmen, you can quickly decorated an enchanting Christmas landscape.
In 2005 the last four pixies from Royal Copenhagen were released, namely pixie on ski, pixie with billy-goat, pixie with crueller and pixie with pipe. Along with them came also two cute pixie candlesticks with pixie mother and pixie father which can be used for both regular candles and tea lights.
The many Royal Copenhagen pixie figurines give the opportunity to make a personal Christmas scenery with pixie mother and pixie father, grandfather and grandmother and all the cute pixie children who have different things to do. To make the scenery extra festive, you can supplement with some of the other Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurines in form of the large Father Christmas and Christmas girl, the Three Wise Men candlesticks, Lucia figures, snowmen figures, Clara and Peter figurines and the Royal Copenhagen Annual Santa figurines.
When the Christmas table is to be set, possibly with pixie figurines as decoration, you can set it with the beautiful Royal Copenhagen Christmas tableware, Star Fluted Christmas, or the traditional blue Christmas cups and cake plates. Also the coloured Christmas cups from Royal Copenhagen brings a serious mood for Christmas, when you sit with a nice hot cup of coffee or tea in the cosy Christmas decorated living room.
Royal Copenhagen is known for its fabulous Christmas decorations and Annual Santa figurines, while Bing & Grondahl has not released much Christmas decorations. In fact, we find a single pixie in the Bing & Grondahl range, which shows a pixie with rice pudding and cat.
