Bing & Grondahl Porcelain Bear Figurines - Victor and Victoria
In 1997 Bing & Grondahl started the popular series of Victor and Victoria's family. In 1997, Victor and Victoria meet for the first time. Victor, in his fine blue and white sailor suit, are watching Victoria who gracefully skates around the ice with scarf and hat.
In 1998, Victor and Victoria are on their way to a dance - Victor with high hat and cane and Victoria with shawl and nifty handbag.
Bing & Grondahl Victor and Victoria from 1999 is doing gardening. Victoria has a flower pot in her hands, as she has probably planted beautiful flowers in her garden. Victor is in the process of digging in the ground with his spade, so he can start to plant. Or maybe Victoria have more flowers? They are both dressed in work clothes, Victor in a blue overall with a patch on his leg and Victoria in practical blouse and hat.
In 2000 Victor and Victoria became parents. Victoria carefully takes care of her baby, while a proud Victor comes with a large and beautiful bouquet of flowers in his hand.
Bing and Grondahl Victoria from 2001 is in the process of bathing the new baby, while Victor in bathrobe is trying to divert the babys attention from the water by playing with a bath duck.
In 2002, we see the family in summer time and the little one is taking his first walk in the garden, safe in Victoria's arms and Victor is ready with the camera to take pictures.
Bing & Grondahl Victor and Victoria Bear figurines from 2003-2008Originally, we only had the opportunity to follow Victor and Victoria for six years (1997 to 2002), but because of the series great popularity and many collectors who love to follow the teddy bears in their future lives, B&G chose to continue the series.
In 2003, we see Victoria trying to get little Theo to sleep. He gets a bit of milk from the bottle before going to sleep. The proud father Victor watches from the sidelines and you can almost feel the love, tenderness and comfort between the three teddy bears.
Bing & Grondahls bear figurine of Theo is celebrating his 3rd birthday in 2004. Mother Bear Victoria has made a delicious pie with 3 candles on top. Theo shows his enthusiasm of the delicious cake and Victor stands behind him in fine white shirt and tie.
The following year, in 2005, Bear Theo is ready to start in kindergarten and Bing & Grondahl Victor and Victoria waving happy, yet sad to say goodbye to him. Bear Victoria stands with her white pocket handkerchief in her hand, while little Bear Theo is happy and expectantly waving on his way to kindergarten with his fine new bag on his back.
In 2006 changes happens again in Bear Victor and Bear Victoria's family from Bing & Grondahl. Theo gets a little sister when Ursula comes to and he and Victor welcome mother and daughter with flowers. Theo is very happy and can not wait to get a new playmate. Victor and Victoria look at their two lovely children with joy and gratitude.
Theo has started school and in 2007 he proudly shows his parents and his younger sister that he is learning the alphabet. Victor stands with Ursula in his arms, while Victoria has been working in the kitchen and comes with a bowl, perhaps with soup.
2008 is the last year we are allowed to follow the dear teddy bears from Bing & Grondahl. They have now taken a trip to the beach a beautiful summers day. Victoria reads a book in her chair, Victor catches fish for the evening dinner and Theo and Ursula are building sand castles.
