In the more exclusive end we will find the rare colonial service that was made to celebrate the bicentennary of US indenpendence. It is sold as one set with a beautiful mahogany furniture that is the storage box for the coffee set to make it possible to bring it with you to the frontier. This is the coffee service that any American patriot should wish to own!
The flagship of Royal Copenhagens dinnerware selection is without a doubt the Blue Fluted service, which is almost synonymous with Royal Copenhagen. The service has been around since the founding of Royal Copenhagen and is still in production today. Through all these years numerous pieces of the service have been produced and new pieces still arrive. Many pieces of the service can only be found second hand as much have been taken out of production through the years.
Blue Fluted is but one of many services that Royal Copenhagen have produced through the years. Among the others Blue Flower can be mentioned, which is also one of the very old services. This service has been very popular through the years, but is no longer in Production.
From Aluminia Royal Copenhagen inherited the service Tranquebar named after the Danish colony in India. The Service is in faience with a tulip painted in the middel. That it is in faience also gives it a completely different feel than in the classic porcelain services.
