Shane Brox was born in 1968 in British Columbia in Canada, but grew up in Norway.

After he was trained as a designer at Kolding School of Design, he worked as a designer for Levi Strauss before he began to work with art for children.

Shane Brox has released his own picture book "Masquerade" in 2007 and he has also designed the Masquerade dinnerware from Royal Copenhagen with children's drawings. He also had his own children's program, 'Shane's World', on DR1 and has helped to produce other programs for children on television.

In addition, Shane Brox has given new life to a part of the old Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl figurines in Figure Series Royal Whites from 2008.
